Fuel Station Savings Calculator

Search your area, select your usual forecourt, then tell us how often you fill up (preset schedule), your fuel type (E10 or B7), and litres per fill (we default to 55L). We suggest a cheaper station within 2 miles and estimate how much you could save per year using live UK list prices.

Common questions

How does the Fuel Station Savings Calculator work?
You search for a UK place, we load nearby forecourts, and you pick the station you usually use. Choose E10 petrol or B7 diesel, how often you fill up (presets from daily down to once a month — each maps to a realistic yearly count), and how many litres each fill (55L is a common default). We then look for cheaper listed prices within 2 miles of that station and estimate your saving per fill and per year.
Why 2 miles?
Two miles keeps suggestions realistic for a small detour on a familiar route. Prices and stations change — always confirm on the forecourt before you fill.
How accurate are the savings?
We use the same live pence-per-litre data as the FuelNearby map. Your real saving depends on pump prices, promotions, and whether you actually use the suggested station. The figure is an estimate for comparison, not a guarantee.
What if I’m already at the cheapest station nearby?
If nothing within 2 miles beats your station’s listed price (or no other station has a price for that fuel), we’ll tell you — there’s nothing to gain from switching on this snapshot.
